1. Platform Switching
The reduced diameter of the abutment in relation to the implant minimizes the risk of inflammatory cell infiltration. It significantly contributes to marginal bone preservation and soft tissue attachment.
2. Open Thread
Featuring an open thread in its upper portion, this fixture can be placed with minimal resistance, allowing for enhanced control of initial stability and reduction of implantation load.
3. Double Thread Design
The implant's double-threaded corkscrew design has the effect of decreasing the aggressiveness of the implant whiling increasing the surface envelope for earlier osseointegration, as well as reducing the effective stress. The gradual widening of the thread thickness compresses the bone to yield enhanced implant fixation and higher stability, even in compromised bone conditions.
4. Tapered Body
The implant body's tapered geometry has the advantageous property of enabling the transfer and concentration of compressive loads on the implant's apical zone, making it an ideal choice for immediate implantation and loading. In addition, it significantly enhances primary stability and facilitates self-tapping implant placement, even in high bone density.
5. Spherical Apex
The implant's smooth spherical apex design minimizes the risk of bone perforation.
6. Helix Cutting Edge
Two self-tapping helix cutting blades, which extend up to the implant's upper mid-section, enable smooth penetration with minimal bone destrction.

Sandblasted Acid-Etched Treatment
The surface of PRIMUS implants is created using extensively researched and widely acknowledged macro and micro-roughening techniques, setting the standard in the global dental implant industry. These sophisticated techniques involve sandblasting with aluminum oxide particles, followed by an acid etching process. The resulting surface topography achieves an advantageous Ra value (a standard parameter to describe average surface roughness) of 2.2µm. This degree of roughness promotes superior Bone to Implant Contact (BIC) and enables optimal cellular adhesion for rapid osseointegration.
SAT Surface Treatment
- 1Proven long term stability of SAT surface
- 2Tested optimum surface roughness (Ra 2.2µm)
- 3Thorough SAT surface cleaning through the optimal cleaning process
- 4Verified osseointegration results in various clinical cases
